This service can be purchased as an add-on treatment at housecalls. Earseeds are a safe and effective way to treat a variety of common conditions. Conditions earseeds may be indicated for include back pain, insomnia, depression, anxiety, stress, headaches and migraines, addictions, infertility and weight loss. They work by stimulating pressure points on the ear, and constitute a form of acupressure. Ear seeds can be left in place up to 5 days. To stimulate the points simply apply pressure to the balls for a few seconds a few times a day. This treatment is available to BC residents who live in Kamloops or Kelowna.

This service is available as an add-on service only when you purchase another treatment. Many people like to combine a far infrared sauna treatment with acupuncture or cupping to achieve additional benefits. The purported benefits of far infrared sauna therapy include increased metabolism and calorie burning, detoxification, reduces joint pain and muscle soreness, improves sleep, helps relax you, improves circulation and clears and tightens the skin. This is an add-on service for house-calls, and can only be booked when you purchase other services. Along with exercise and a healthy diet, lipotropic shots can be an effective way to lose weight by increasing fat metabolism. The ingredients contained in this shot help to increase the body's usage of fat. Vitamin B12 helps to maintain a healthy metabolism, lessens fatigue, helps convert fat and protein into energy, and assists with the breakdown of carbohydrates. Methionine helps support the digestive system, assists with heavy metal and liver detoxification, and helps break up fat deposits. Dr. Hayley is a Naturopathic Physician who has been practicing for over 6 years in the US. In 2020, she moved back to her native BC to help clients in Canada. She is well-versed in conditions involving hormones (including thyroid and adrenal conditions), digestive health, autoimmune disease and immune system health, blood sugar and insulin problems, cardiovascular conditions, cognitive and mental health conditions, weight loss, and more. She utilizes both nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals, nutrition, and lifestyle measures to help you achieve optimal health. This consultation is up to 90 minutes in length, and involves taking a comprehensive health history, looking at the medications and supplements you are already on, ordering any necessary labs for further investigation of your medical condition/s, and the formulation of an individualized and comprehensive treatment plan specific to you. If you have any condition that can not be fully evaluated via telemedicine, Dr. Hayley may recommend a trip to your primary care physician or walk-in clinic for things like physical exams and further testing such as diagnostic imaging. Since BC only covers laboratories under MSP if they are ordered by an MD, it is advisable to have lab tests completed through your MD. If this is not possible, Dr. Hayley can run these labs, but there will be out-of-pocket fees associated. Supplements are also generally not covered by insurance. On request, Dr. Hayley can provide a receipt that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement of services and other associated expenses. No reimbursement is guaranteed and it is solely at the discretion of your insurer whether any reimbursement will be forthcoming.

This service is offered after your initial general Naturopathic consultation and takes up to 45 minutes. It is recommended that you schedule a follow-up 6-8 weeks after your initial consultation so your treatment progress can be assessed, scripts and supplements refilled, any abnormal labs can be retested, and Dr. Hayley can answer any further questions or concerns you may have. This is also a good time for dosage adjustments and new additions/subtractions to/from your treatment plan. After the first follow-up, it is recommended that you follow-up every 6-8 weeks until you are at the correct dose for all your scripts and supplements, and you are doing well on your current treatment plan. After this every 3 months is generally good to do a check-in and make sure nothing has changed. As with the initial consultation, on request, a receipt can be provided to submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement. As stated previously, any reimbursement is at the sole discretion of your insurer and not guaranteed.
