About Natalie the RD
Natalie is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Dominican University, as well as her Masters in Nutrition. After being accepted into Dominican’s Didactic Program, Natalie completed her dietetic internship, with a focus on clinical practice, community health, and food service.
Spanning her career, Natalie has worked with a wide variety of individuals, from adolescents to adults. The clients she has worked with have had a wide range of conditions: from diabetes or high cholesterol to those struggling with eating disorders or disordered eating patterns. While working with an outpatient private practice group in Chicago, Illinois, Natalie discovered her passion for helping those suffering with eating disorders or disordered eating patterns repair their relationship with food. Upon leaving her outpatient work, she went on to work as the dietitian in a residential eating disorder facility in Northern California. Natalie has since continued to provide nutrition services for private clients and businesses on a consulting basis.
Natalie understands that for those working through disordered eating patterns, the mind-body connection is oftentimes damaged. Natalie believes it is imperative to work with clients to reconnect the mind and body to establish or repair one’s healthy relationship with food. Natalie’s individualized, client-centered approach to nutrition counseling focuses on working with clients to make healthy changes that are both manageable and sustainable.
