"Belly & Heart brings together holistic nutrition and therapeutic yogaservices to support the health, joy and resiliency of individuals,families and communities.We have a specific interest in supporting individuals and familiesexperiencing neurological and neurodegenerative conditions, working withfolks through pregnancy and nourishing new parents through the postpartumtransition, as well supporting adults and elders to maintain strongcognitive, physical and emotional health. Belly & Heart places anemphasis on digestive health and mindfulness as foundational tonutritional wellbeing.Nutritional education services include: nutritional consulting and healthcoaching, public and customized cooking classes, support with mealplanning and preparation, as well as curriculum development and publicspeaking.Khalilah Alwani has been utilizing nutritional approaches to support folkswith Huntington’s for the last 14 years. She is passionate about thiswork, as well as working with folks experiencing a diversity ofneurological issues (such as MS, Parkinson’s, dementia, epilepsy, andbrain injury), as well as with their families and caregivers. Khalilahalso works with adults of all ages to support brain health throughnutrition – offering workshops and one-on-one support."
