The care aid was looking for directions to her next interview for a senior home care position, and when the man looked at the address he smiled, "That looks familiar! That is my grandmother's address." The care aid got the job. The nurture and support this care professional provided the grandmother made her come alive and greatly improved her quality of life. It was then that Lina, the client's daughter and co-director of Annie's Place Care Corp., recognized the important need and value in providing this type of senior home care support in her community. Counselling for Addictions

Counselling approach: Naomi works from a heart-centered approach in which she guides, directs, and challenges you in a gentle and compassionate manner toward the core of your issues. She believes that you are the expert on your own life. Her aim is to help you connect with your higher wisdom in order to bring about healing and empowerment. Naomi uses a variety of effective, evidence-based therapies:Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT); Dynamic Attachment Re-Patterning (DARE); Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR); Gestalt & Body-Centered; Sensorimotor Psychotherapy; Motivational Interviewing (MI); Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)Clinical supervision & presentations. Sports Injury & Relaxation Massage

My specialties are in Swedish Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Sports and Injury Massage, Jade Hot Stone Massage, as well as Pregnancy Massage and Cold Laser Therapy. For your comfort I provide a heated table in winter and air conditioning during the summer. Candles and relaxation music provide a perfectly restful, healing and peaceful atmosphere. Unscented carrier oils with essential oils are used. Wintergreen, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Wintergreen and Clove are the main scents but special aromas for Headaches are available as well. A cooling spray with Arnica (an herbal pain killer) is also available. Jade Stone Massage Jade Stone Massage incorporates heated and cooled Jade Stones that are placed on the body or used for massage. One massage stroke with a heated stone is like 7 with my hands with the heat penetration into the muscle and tissue.
